Cinque Terre area was hit today by floods. The situation is severe, the villages Monterosso al Mare and Vernazza were especially hard hit. Railway and highways are completely closed. A catastrophe!
-update 2011.10.28- Enel has reconnect power to main buildings. Train traffic has been partially restored (3 trains/hour). Highway A12 and A15 are now open.
